Trying to find these shoes were a task !
Luckily, I walked into a boutique here in nyc, and found them..
In the last size they had were my size!
I wanted to re-think about it and order them off the internet because of the price,
but when I checked those places on my iphone, all were sold out or up for pre-order!
I knew right then it was meant to be :)
(Lmao)

Although this is my 2nd time around interning for them, I definitely notice the growth & 'spectacular-ness' each
time. I'm proud of these girls & their new collection is definitely one to look out for!

So me & Gabby ventured out & happened to get lost while along the pier.
We started off on 42nd street then somehow ended up on 23rd by the end of the journey,
I eventually had to use my Siri app to find a nearest Starbucks for us to rest at..
We still had fun regardless of the horrible heat :-)

She's always crossing the street at the last minute;


Then I happened to spot a cruise ship when I finally crossed,


& felt the desire to get a better photo of it, so we started to follow in it's direction;


& We finally caught up to it, but it was moving a little too fast so, I took a photo of what I could..


Then after my attention was off the cruise ship, I happened to notice how awesome the scenery was;




So I started going "trigger happy" ha :)..& decided to use Gabby as my subject;





& I don't think she liked that too much bcus she took my camera from me lmao, & played photographer herself (don't mind me in the right lower corner, ha :p) ;


& I want to post way more, but this is already the 5th day i've skipped on not submitting this post already,
so maybe i'll edit later with more, or post the rest on my flickr, lol.

I went to the Pride Parade this past Sunday because i've never been before and i've always
wanted to experience going.  I knew this year's would be the perfect year to go because
of the new law being passed for gay marriage rights here in NY. I knew this years would be extra special to
the gay/lesbian community, so why not go? & I'm glad I did because I had a great time.

Aaaanywho,

(it was a group project to go and discover different types of store & what not) but overall it was a really good experience. We (the group I was in, and I) discovered/found some really great boutiques & vintage stores that I will be going back to.

What do all of these things have in common? Water.
I have decided that this will be my theme for my Fundamental of Design class,
I picked it since I love water so much and I know exactly what ideas that I can stem from
"water" including the color palette, the cohesiveness. I'm a little too excited. Lol.
